Gail, ya know, in 11-12 years, Disk Doctor has found and fixed all sorts of things on my Macs -- cross-linked files, damaged resource forks, and the less important things like incorrectly set bundle bits, icon flags, and backup dates. Amost all of these are things that DiskWarrior -- which is great at what it does -- cannot detect, let alone flag or repair. I have used Norton Speed Disk and find it to be the most intelligent, useful, and bulletproof defragmenter made for the Mac. No, Norton will never find and fix conflicts, nor does it pretend to. It's for diagnosing problems with files and directories. For that kind of troubleshooting, look at Conflict Catcher. It's specifically designed to find conflicts.
