Try this:

Boot into 9, fire up XPostFacto. Somewhere in the menus is a section to 
choose an input and output device.

In the input device there may be a selection for your video card 
(identified by which PCI slot it is in) Try selecting that, and kbd for 
the input device.

You shouldn't need to do this, since the 9600 doesn't have onboard 
video, but it might work.
