I've been told that the Formac Proformance III beats out most (all?) 
other cards in 3-D performance.  I'm not sure if that's true, but it 
is supposed to be very fast.  However, it is also probably harder to 
find than the Voodoo card or a Radeon card.  About a year ago there 
was someone selling a bunch of them on Ebay for about $50 each but 
that's long gone.
