I have an 8600/G4 with an Apple Color OneScanner 600/27 attached. I also just bought Adobe Acrobat for my business. When I got to scan a document directly into Acrobat, no scanner is present. I've heard that the scanner must be TWAIN-compliant to work in Acrobat, and I've also heard that the OneScanner 600/27 is NOT TWAIN-compliant but that there are work-arounds? Does anyone know what those work-arounds are? I need some detailed explanations, because I've never quite understood the whole scanner-to-software connection.
