ASP is a strange bird. The OS 8.6 version on my 7500 doesn't acknowledge
two of the PCI cards installed, though they both work fine. This just
happened out of the blue. On my 9600 it indicates an 8MB external L2
cache when in reality it's 1MB backside on a g4 ZIF. It also doesn't
recognize g3 or g4 processors.

Tattletech is a much more thorough and accurate identification utility.
It's a free download, though I forget where. A Google search should find
it easily enough.
