The SCSI connector on the LaserWriter is a square connector like the compact
SCSI found on some older PowerBooks, and the hard drive connected to it MUST
be terminated with one of the rare Black Terminators that came with Mac IIfx
computers.

The internal (2x25=50-pin 0.025" ribbon cable) connector and external (5x6=30
pin HDI type with one pin missing, just as on the PowerBooks which support
SCSI) connnector do not need to be terminated.

They're driven in parallel.

The internal connector cannot be terminated at all.

The external connector, if used, may, in most cases, be terminated by the
"weak" termination provided by most 1" high drives, or it may be terminated
by a conventional terminator.
