There was a logic board for the LWII series that provided for 
connecting to early Macs via the SCSI port.  Not a SCSI connector for 
attaching a HD to the LWII.  Not an RS232 connector.  Not an ethernet 
connector.  Not an Appletalk connector.  I have one of those boards 
around here somewhere.  I think it was the LWIISC.
