I know this is getting more OT, but I'm a recent Comcast subscriber in CT,
and I've had support nightmares with Comcast as well. I am periodically
unable to log into their web site with my root account ID. After hours on
the phone with Level 1, 2 and 3 tech support, none of whom had a clue about
Macintosh support, I finally received the following "technical" information:

"The engineers tell me there are known issues with the Macintosh."

That's IT!

Specifically what happens to me is my browser (IE5) times out while tring to
load the secure login page/script/app/whatever.

The frustrating thing is going through all the BS like "did you type your
user id all in lower case..."

Does anyone else share this problem?

Charles
