Hello!
I have a question (basic, I know...). How much time should take a 16x
CD-ROM connected to a 7500 (G3 400 with 128Mb RAM and OS 9.1) to mount a
CD-ROM with some hundred (perhaps a thousand) files on it?. 10 seconds?.
30?. A full minute? (of course, I want just an estimation)
I thought my CD-ROM was defective but then I realized it had to read lots
of data to mount the unit before showing the desktop icon; am I right?
