Greetings PCI listers,
I'm a jump over from the LEM list which is great.
I recently purchased from a lister (although via ebay) an ATI Rage card in
hopes of using it in my G3 upgraded 9500 to mess with OSX. I installed it and
the video output was messed up, almost like when the screen was being drawn
it was not in sync, vertical distortions, some stuff was normal interspersed
with misaligned vertical sections. I tried it with different monitors,
repeated CUDA resets, PRAM zaps, boot in 8.6, 9.1, extensions off, etc. and
nothing corrects it. Could it be a bum card?
I don't want to make a fuss over it until I'm sure it's the card and not
something I've failed to do.
Thanks,
Dean
