AFAIK iTunes switches the monitor resolution to 640x480 to display the visuals. Does your 17" monitor support such a low resolution? If iTunes cannot change the resolution, visuals will be displayed in a current one, resulting in a black border around them. I have 17" monitor as well, but it is a SVGA one with an adaptor. When I set "VGA" using the adaptor dip switches, 640x480 and 800x600 resolutions are available in Monitors control panel (I use 1024x768) and iTunes displays visuals on the whole screen, switching the resolution down to display them. But when I set the dip switches to "17 inch monitor" setting, the only available resolution is 1024x768 and iTunes' visuals are displayed with a border around them. ...I don't know how to fix it, though. At least with iTunes 1.1. But I don't care much, as those visuals are way too slow on my 8500 ;-) -- Grzegorz Pawlik http://gregory.atari.pl/ -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
