I personally called Dish Network and asked them if that service supported Macs about a month ago. They told me it does work for Mac and that they'd supply the right modem and connections for it. He told me the Mac specs, and while I can't remember exactly what they were, I remember thinkiing that my 8500 definitely met the requirements. Not to sound like a smarty-pants or anything but I did spoke to them, however I can't prove service for Macs since I never subscribed. After all after you see the prices you'll start liking your 56K modem better. :) Dish Networks phone is 1 800 333 DISH for anyone who'd want to confirm this, after all I am not interested in cable connection anymore and wont be until I can afford it.
