not really, though I believe the Mach 5 logic boards may run faster 
than 50MHz. Can anyone confirm this? You might wanna check Low End Mac.

Not a dumb question, but no.. the dual processor models have two CPUs 
on a single daughterboard. That daughterboard is replaced entirely with 
the upgrade card, so unless your upgrade is a dual G4....

you'd have to get some kind of PCI (or USB running from a PCI 
card)-based video capture board/device. The 9600 motherboard lacks the 
AV slot connector that connects the AV board found in the 
7600/8500/8600.
