Apple gives very vague model descriptions of their computers.
Other folks give nicknames to the Apple computers, to identify which models are which.
Beige G3 computers have G3 processors, ide internal harddrives, scsi external (& 
internal) 
ports. They are of a beige color, and may be minitowers, or "flat" desktops.
B&W stands for the Blue & White machines that came after the Beige G3s. These had 
firewire 
and USB ports.
(The Blue about which you inquire is the B&W.)
