as Kenta says, the 4400/160 sold w/ 28.8 modem, 4400/200 came w/ethernet, no
modem ...

Look for a Comm Slot II ethernet card to save a PCI slot. Somewhat rare, so
will prolly be at least twice what you paid for the 4400, but $10 was good.
OR ... look for a PCI ethernet card, prolly $5- $10 .
