Hullo ! Does anyone know how to defeat the password protection on an external SCSI disk ?
How this came about : I got my Macs going very well, and even dug out my old SCSI HD from high school, which was connected to a Mac IIcx. I am very interested in getting HyperCard off of that HD and into my MAcs, since I lost the first install disk to my set of original floppies (I still have Disk 2 and Extras). I did not appreciate it then, but HyperCard is actually very valuable, and is apparently $99 still ? Anyway, I cannot remember what my password was from so long ago - about 7 years. I don't even know why I set one, honestly. But if there is a password cracking utility and/or somethng that will mount a SCSI drive regardless, I would be very interested. As usual, thank you very much for your help. Damien Calloway -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
