run???

Xlr8yourmac <http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/> has user reviews and forums on just
about everything for Macs, old and new.

If you go to the CPU Upgrade reviews and select just the "Sonnet G4" upgrade
cards WITHOUT selecting any "Mac Model Category", you'll get all the reports
on all Sonnet G4 upgrades for all PCI Macs. There's a lot on the G4/800, as
well as the earlier Sonnet G4 cards.

I recall seeing some workarounds/solutions for VPC 4x and 5x.

Have you tried using AOL with the G4/800? My wife is pretty much tied to it
at this point. It's dated and lacks features, but it's adequate for our
email needs, and we can get to it immediately from any computer anywhere in
the world.

Good luck!
Rich
