You do this with jumpers. On the  logic board side of the drive there should
be a double row of  pins that can be "jumped" by putting a "jumper" on
them. A jumper is a  wee  small thing that you might not even notice unless
you are looking very carefully for it. If you don't have any, that's the
first step, get a  few jumpers. Then, look  for the  double row of  pins,
and  the stenciled lettering beside it. There should six or seven sets (I
think) The lower three should have something like A0, A1, A2. Jump the A1 or
A2, to set the SCSI id to 1 or 2, that should do it. You may have some other
issues,  but if you already have a drive running at 0 (no  jumpers) this
should get you going and you can begin to worry about all  the particulars
of  SCSI as the days and years roll by.

t will start with the old drive unless otherwise instructed. Go into control
panels (after the first startup on the old drive is running) and you should
see an icon for both drives. Click on  the one you want to highlight it, and
then restart. The machine only runs on one operating system at a time.
Never (for the most part) put more than one operating system on any one
volume. G'luck.
