I have just upgraded my 7500 with a phase 5 g3/400 card. I have 298 meg ram 2gig + 1 gig internal hd + 1 gig external. With a ATI XClaim VR card and a 2 port USB card installed. I did not alter the CPU card or compter but in apple system profiler the card shows up as g3 running at 445mhz. The system appears very stable (OS9.1) but when I reboot after shut down the system gives a chime, the monitor light flashes for a few seconds then the HD starts but the monitor does not come or or the mac start up for another 20-30 seconds. I presume this is just diagnostics but can anyone please confirm? Also does anyone have a cheap palm/psion for sale?
