Upgrading to a G3 has no bearing on the memory, except faster word be 
better.  Some of the G3/G4 upgrades have problems with the slower speed 
RAM (ie. 60ns or slower). What controls which type of RAM you need to 
use is the logic board (which Mac model) you have.
