If the drive you're talking about is one that sounds like a jet engine
at startup, I have one installed in a 9500/240/60 and it is using the
internal scsi bus. I don't know if anyone has said anything more about
the memory in the 7300s' but you can't put junk memory in it. The
controller in those is real picky about what type of memroy you install
in one. Must at least 70ns or higher like 60ns 2k refresh; that why I
can't use the G3/500 processor from my 8500 in my 9500 or else i would
instead of the 8500 which is being used as a television and web surf
box. The Power Computing machines just as bad with memory also but the
good thing is you use the processor cards from them as the higher end
ones are rated as 180/60, 210/60 but the 200/50, 250/50.
