Ron, what you don't realize is that your wife spilt coke on your
keyboard and shorted out your ADB. This in turn has shorted out the
voltage regulator in your monitor. It is not a remediable situation,
unless you replace the guts in your monitor and replace your keyboard.

Please instruct your wife not to consume beverages near your computer.
