Evening, I did all that was suggested, all the SNM files were trashed, and a few more files I did not want such as all OE, IE, MS take over the computer stuff has been trashed. I hope forever.
Now the suggestion I take the attachment onto the desktop worked. I dragged it and it opened immediately. The program that opened it was JPEGView, written in 1992!!! I read through what it had to say, but could not see how to place it so the attachments would open simply by clicking on the paper clip in the upper right corner of the e-mail message, and then double clicking on the bottom left side. Please tell me what I must do. Now this very digest came as a duplicate. Again when I try to delete it brings up the earliest message in my box and dates it 12/30/69. That also will not delete. I got tied up with the mundane, doing laundry, so did not yet load Netscape 7.2. May try now, or wait for another message from you wonderful persons.
