I upgraded my 8600/G4 to OS 9.2 recently. Seems to run fine. But I have noticed that my computer seems to eat up the RAM a little more and it seems to run a little slower. Is this a side-effect of 9.2?
I also run Virtual PC, and it REALLY eats up the RAM -- will eat up 550MB of RAM at the drop of a hat. When I have Finder, Word, Excel, IE, Entourage, and VPC open, I start having running out of RAM. I've got almost 800MB of RAM -- I figured that would be enough, but it's not. Is this a 9.2 problem, or it is just reality? -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
