This would be extremely difficult as mp3s/AIFFs/etc are completely different. MP3s and the like are digital audio - the actual waveforms are encoded in the file and reproduced by a decoder. MIDIs, on the other hand, just encode what note/length/etc to play and on what instrument - its left up to the sound card or whatever is playing it to provide the instruments. While I suppose it could be done, it would sound very bad without a good bit of human work involved. It would easier to find a MIDI editing program and essentially rewriting it by hand.
