answer to david klaus:
I tend to get my macs for free and upgrade them one smal purchase at a
time. I can't buy a whole system at once, and i really don't wish to. I
have 6 macs as it is [all freebies] and that's more than enough to
putter on and soup up.
i got some christmas money from my family as i do every year, and I am
shopping the eBay auctions judiciously, bidding only what i dare and
winning every now and then, but i found myself getting confused looking
at so many PCI video cards. I realized I really didn't know how much was
too big for my 6360. the only thing i have ever seen discussed for it
the ATI rage 128, and was surprised to find out that's only a 16 mb
card. so is 16mb the upper limit for this? anything higher is too much
for the machine to handle, including if i get the G3L2 upgrade to 320
Mhz?
