What needs to be checked include the PRAM battery, CUDA switch reset (if
you've pulled out and reseated the processor), or reset the motherboard. It
will be less of a hassle to sunstitute a another 8500 (or 9500) power
supply than it is to swap a desktop's power supply (different form factor).
