To my fellow AOHell'ers, don't waste your time installing AOL for Mac OS X if
you intend to post to any of the LEM lists.

During the day I sometimes use a 7300/200 running OS 10.1.5. After installing
AOL v10.2.1 and I try to reply to this list, MAILER-DAEMON tells me (as it
should):

"Your message cannot be posted. It has content-type: multipart/alternative,
and this lists accepts plain text only"

I have contacted the AOL help boards and one of the LDRS HELP volunteers
writes:

<quote> Sorry, Glen, AOL for Mac OS X doesn't know how to do plain text
e-mail. )-:

Donno whose bright idea that was (he's probably cowering in a cave somewhere
<g>), but you can write directly to AOL about it here <Write our Staff>
and/or here AOL's <"Tell Us What You Think">,</quote>

What do I think!!?? --Do they really want to know?

BTW, if anyone on list has discovered a way to teach AOL 10.2.1 to send plain
text please let me know. Meanwhile for me it's back to AOL 5.0 on my trusty
6100 evenings, finding a few choice words to describe "what I think" to AOL
and looking for yet another ISP. ;-)
