1.  Get 2 sticks of 128MB RAM,
     Having 256 is way better than 128.
     www.otherWorldComputing.com
     is an excellent place to get the ram.
     (about $30 for each stick).
2.  Either get a 200MHz 604e card
     (Only about $10 - $20)
     or get a G3 card (about $100)
2.a.  If you get the 604e card,
       get an L2 cache chip.
       (not needed if you get a G3).
