Bruce, Thank you very much, yes i can follow that. Today i tried to properly set 6.2 POP and ISP Cox, with the help of a Cox techie. I gave up on it as I/we could not locate Mail & News Groups under the Edit. I know it should be there, but only found Preferences which in that version no longer contains the set ups.
The only reason I did not go to version 7 right away is the commentary on this list as to its being too slow with older systems. I believe I might as well wait until the G3 gets here and do it once only. I have a mini family crisis in Plano, Tex. and will fly there Thursday to give my son some support with his almost 18 year old. By the time I return, the G$ should be here. Thanks for the comment on Tiger, I sure felt it was bait and switch. Now another question, while I was thinking upgrade the 7300/200, I bought a USB Card and also 256 Ram, 2X128. That package is totally unopened, I have it about 2 weeks. Both yesterday and today I called the vendor about returning the RAM. I spoke with the owner Jeff Bittner in Naples, Fla. He claims no return policy at all, but will do me a favor and take back my $57.50 purchase for $40.00 less $6.00 shipping. Thanks a lot! What is the story on dealing with these vendors? I bought the USB card from Fry's in Plano and will take it back with me to see if they will refund it. I am a senior, but these guys make me feel rather foolish.
