Hi, I'm following the thread about the ATI 3D acceleration card and I must agree: I do not see that much improvement in 2D but I must also say that I do not play 3D games. I have a 6500/275 that came with an ATI card (name: ATY-264GT-B, model: ATY, GT-B). Since I don't play games, I removed most of the extensions with the name ATI (IE (note that the names are in french but I guess the name will say it all): 1- Acclrateur 3D 128 Rage ATI 2- Acclrateur 3D ATI 3- Acclrateur vido ATI 4- ATI Radeon 3D Accelerator 5- Gestionnaire MPP ATI 6- Mise jour gestionnaires ATI So, all of the extensions but the Apple "Acclrateur graphique FU1-5.2.4" with came with te System (9.1) have been removed. Should I put back the above mentioned extensions, what are they used for anyway? Thanks in advance for your precious hints
