i won this on eBay. they guy worked on PC;s and decided to take apart a mac he found, just to see what they were like. he pretty much ruined the case, so we don't have the model number, case or faceplate to go by. Let's test our recognition skills! here are our clues:
-the motherboard is foxcomm 'drawer' design -has a motorola 603 chip on it with 'maltese cross' aluminum pan heatsink clipped on it -comm slot says comm slot, no 'I vs II' -comm slot holds global village teleport platimun modem card. no speed discernable printed on it -modem port on outside back has disabling plastic beige plug inserted -this mac came with the mac tv coax cable nipple module, which fits in a chamber in the center upper back panel, and a tv tuner card, which goes on the far left side of the mobo, near the foxcomm tines. -came with an apple rommed cd rom reader, 600i. has the foxcomm adapter tines plugged into normal pin interfaces. has jumper bars set-three together on left, one for termination, on right. -cd reader is mounted on beige plastic sled with tongue tab on end. -has a black door floppie drive, mounted on metal sled. -mobo has an LC PDS slot. not nubus, not PCI -came with two cards of DRAM, 32MB ea, and an L2 cache card -came with an apple ROMmed quantum fireball hard drive, 1.2 gigs first one to guess it right wins this game, and helps me identify the mystery mac! questions invited, speculation allowed. reason out your answer and show your work. process of elimination appreciated, to understand why it has to be the model you say and not otherwise.
