i would go for the 800 mhz. I got one in my 8600 and its great for Virtual PC which is the only slow dog app on my machine. Its well worth the expense. I probably wont get another computer for a long time 'cause i can do everything nicely with Ole Faithful
and install was easy, I didnt even follow the directions, i did not do clean install. and OS9helper works too... running 9.2.2 visit xlr8yourmac and read the reviews on sonnet g4 generally they are pretty good. Also dont worry about interleaved RAM. I emailed sonnet and their latest drivers for G4 have conquered this problem and you can have any RAM setup you like.
