What are the needs of us who use older machines and what can we do to advance them ? Let's accentuate the positive here and find ways to promote and serve our needs as PCI Mac users. Yes, all of us want the presumably better new models, but they are obviously out of reach for many who rely on this list. Given the choice I will always select a machine with not only the performance I want, but as importantly one with a long and broad projected upgrade path. Maybe such a magazine would not necessarily be only for Mac users. There are a lot of "obsolete " platforms out there and after market suppliers to serve the user community of each. I hope they call it "Computer Mechanics" or " Custom Computer Illustrated " or even " Computer Craft ". It sounds viable to me. As long as the editorial policy forbids bias toward a single platform as dominant. I guess I'm just a dreamer . But then if I weren't I'd never have bought an Amiga or a Mac.
