Hello all, Man this list has gone through some changes. I was on this list a
long time ago back when it was just the "Powermac List" back then I was
using my trusty 7100, since then I've moved on to a iMac. Now I find myself
coming back once again, I've recently acquired a 8500/120. It appears to
have been upgraded a little, it now has a 604e running at 205mhz. I was
wondering if I could get a little info on this little gem such as a possible
G3 or G4 upgrade. Also I remember there was once a site that had a bunch of
manuals and such for a lot of older Mac stuff that showed how to take apart
the machines, for the life of me I can't remember the name of the site, I
think it had the word Gamba in it, if anyone knows what I'm talking about
could you please let me know. I'd like to strip it down and give it a good
cleaning, but it is a lot different from my old 7100.
Thanks for your time.
Peter
