I'm not sure it'll work, but you might try booting from the Network
Install Disk (perhaps making a RAM disk, moving the Network Install
Disk's System Folder to it, and booting from there) and then trying to
install.  The Network Install Disk is on Apple's FTP site
(ftp.apple.com) somewhere in the system software directory.  It's a
very handy thing to have around, if it'll boot your system...

LEM says the 7500 needs 7.5.2 with a system enabler and above- I think
the Network Install Disk uses 7.5.3 (modified) so I don't know if
it'll even boot.

If it does install, try and copy the extensions and whatever to your 9
system folder.
