The first thing to check is if the camera is supported on a Mac. (Has Mac drivers/extensions that are compatible with your OS.) http://www.ivisit.com has free software which allows setting up a private "room" where you can use video and audio to communicate with any others (PC or Mac) who also have iVisit installed. You can password protect the room to keep unwanted guests out.
