I have found that there is definetly a noticable speed increase across the
board utilizing OS 9.2.2 as opposed to OS 9.1. os9forever.com has a hack
that will allow you to install 9.2.2 on unsupported machines without a
hitch. At the very least I would go to the6400zone.com and download the
9.2.2 open transport controll panel and extensions if you're set on using
9.1 That would give a little boost to your browser functions, ie; page
loading, file downloading. Yes, technically, 9.2.2 is the "classic"
companion os for X, but it performs wonderfully as a stand alone OS also.

As far as netscape and mozilla go.... I hear/read the word "speed" used alot
when people describe netscape & mozilla operation/functioning. Personally, I
don't see it at all. The newest netscape was certainly an improvement over
anything previously, but my experience using either of those programs left
me wondering if there shouldn't be a law against using the word "speed" in
the same sentence.
