Yes but they need to be in the right place for Outlook Express to read them. Outlook Express data files don�t open in the Finder - they are particular files that Outlook Express itself reads. Outlook Express looks for 'Microsoft User Data' folder inside your documents folder. If it doesn�t find one it creates a new on with of course no mails addresses or contacts. If your documents folder wasn�t where your Mac OS install expected it to be then it would make another. It may be that Outlook Express looks in this one for its data instead of wherever you had the documents before? If you have 2 folders called Microsoft User Data then you need to replace your new empty version with your old working version.
