Chris, This is one of the easiest upgrades: pull out the old motherboard and slide in the new one. That's it. The RAM and any expansion cards are all on the motherboard: PCI & Comm Slot & Special video(?). I have another 5200 that I upgraded to the 5500/225. It even has the special video in, so I hooked up my VCR to it and can watch TV on it. I can even use my VCR/TV universal remote with it (set the remote to Sony). Now I can adjust the volume and power on/off the machine with the remote. (Geeky cool) You can also upgrade the hard drive and CDROM, if you like, but it isn't necessary. -- Kelly Jones http://www.wideopenwest.com/~kdjones74 <-- My old computer collection -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
