Apologies, I see Red Faction, I think Descent 4 and I was operating 
on too little sleep when I answered you.   Obviously Red Faction is 
Open GL only.   I ended up playing it using my ATI Radeon, and can't 
offer specific Voodoo help.   The general suggestions are the same, 
make sure you are using the latest version of Red Faction (1.2) and 
try the latest drivers.   The one site I know of with Macintosh 3dfx 
info still up is <http://www.mac3dfx.com/> which might have other 
suggestions.
