DING! Check which port Appletalk is active on...betcha you don't see the 
printer until Appletalk is reset to the printer port.

To solve this problem permanently, go look for (iirc) Laswerwriter 
bridge or Appleshare Bridge on Apple's support site. I'm not sure it 
works with 9.1 but it's worth a try. What this allows you to do is have 
a Localtakl segment off your printer port, and an Ethertalk segment off 
your ethernet port and see them simultaneously. In addition if it works 
with 9.1 it will let your other networked printers see the laserwriter, too.
