I have OS 8.1 on my computer. How is it possible to get iTunes to work on my PM 6500/250 with this OS? I see you use it on OS 8.

When I use my internal CD to rip, it runs at 1x speed. When I use my external USB drive, it runs at 2.5x speed, which I think is the max throughput. Why is this? I would think the internal CD would be able to go faster. I have compared this to a Rev B iMac, and that is only able to go at 1.5x speed.
