IF command option shift delete doesn�t work get back to the seller and ask
for a replacement. You could try startup disk to select it - but shouldn�t
have to, as in trouble that option wouldn�t be open to you and hence your
purchase wouldnt be any use

If it was a private purchase and replacement not possible then make your own
rescue CD and put DiskWarrior on it along with any other useful utilities.
