Advanced Systems Format. It's the WiMP format that handles the codecs for whatever type of audio/video compressed file that you're trying to access, if it's created as a .asf file and the correct codec is installed. If it is a mpeg 4 file QT 6 will handle it provided you can convert it from the .asf format.
