Anyone else have trouble installing Netscape 7 on a
PCI PowerMac with an upgraded daughter card installed?

I upgraded my PB3400 last night to Netscape 7 with no
problems. (Takes longer to launch then IE 5 but loads
pages 50% faster! I'm hooked!)

When I tried the same thing this morning on my 7300
(PowerLogix G3/400 1MB L2 Cache) It failed after
downloading the install files with an Error 4. I
quickly did a check to make sure all other aps were
closed and saw SimpleText open... I figured that
shouldn't mattter but closed it and ran it again. It
gave me an error 215 (Note, not an error 214 which
would denote a communications failure during
download.)

I then tried downloading the full 20MB offline
installer. It went through the process and ended with
an Error 225. The only difference I can think of
between the 3400 and my 7300 is the daughter card
upgarde. I'm thinking my trouble must be related.

Cheers,
Sionnach
