I have the same problem with both of my Sonnet upgraded 1400s. (I have been
writing it off to the 64 Meg max RAM on the PBs, but you might have hit on
the real problem.)  VPC 4/ME runs fine on my Newer, XLR8 and Powerlogix
upgraded PCI Macs. Possibly an extension conflict with the Sonnet driver?
