This maybe completely unrelated....
I noticed when I ugraded my stuffit from 5.0 to 6.5 and 7.0 , that the
stuffit installer automatically removed any and all things related to
shrinkwrap- the ext., prefs, app., etc.- and threw them in the trash. On
reboot the installer empties the trash! There was a time there when stufffit
and shrinkwrap were used quite interchangably by people. I started getting
all sorts of messages from the upgraded stuffit when I tried to open some of
my older files from disk I had. Then I finally got an error about shrinkwrap
not being installed - bingo! I reinstalled and then upgrade my shrinkwrap
app and stuffit now behaves itself.Took me a few to figure out who the
culprit was. Like I said, maybe completely unrelated ... or may require
more investigation.
