Has anyone used this combination in an x500 or x600 series Mac or related clone (PW, PTP, Genesis, S900, J700)? My machine freezes at the happy Mac just before the OS splash screen would normally load. I'm currently testing on an S900 but I've confirmed teh same problem on a PTP and a 9500.
If I remove the VST card, it works. If I boot from OS 8.6 instead it works. If I replace the Atto with a 2940UW it works. But the VST, the Atto and OS 9.1 together is a no-go. Perhaps it's time to look at a Tempo Trio. I had an identical problem with the VST card and the Adaptec 2940U2B as well as the PCI JackHammer UW card.
