I also have a orphaned chopstick that I specifically use for this. Always feel better not having to poke around the motherboard with something made of metal. While it is a perfect size for most of the Apple daughtercards (fits between the card and the heatsink), most of the upgrade cards have a bunch of whatnots and doodads on the cards that prevent you from getting to the switch (what rocket scientist decided to put the cuda switch under the processor card?). When I dropped a ZIF carrier into my 8500, I found that the little straw from my compressed air can was small enough and flexible enough to wiggle through the forest of flux capacitors in order to get to the switch. Unfortunately this has to be done by feel as there is no way of even seeing the switch. The chopstick and the straw go in my "hi-tech tools" drawer next to my paperclip. -keith wiley -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
